$5 a bolt is unreasonable but not insane. I suspect you can do better, but I wouldn't swear you can.

Do you have a local pull-a-part?

Grab some from there and stick them in your pockets on the way out. Helps if you buy some other item at the same time (helps conscience-wise at least).

Me personally I haven't paid for a single fuse since I started going to the scrapyard. Spend 20 minutes walking around with a fuse-puller and presto you've got all the fuses you'd ever need :)
